FDA-approved weight care

By Rob Falconer (not a clinician) · Last updated

Many telehealth companies now offer prescription weight-loss care. This section covers FDA-approved medications only: what they cost through telehealth, what's included, and how coverage works.

We don't promote compounded GLP-1 products. The FDA notes that compounded drugs are not FDA-approved, and in 2025 it warned several telehealth companies about misleading claims comparing compounded products to approved brands. Whether any medication is right for you, and at what dose, is a decision for a licensed clinician.
